    Verdict

SURVIVED did enough on her debut at Sandown to suggest she can win a maiden at this level. Beaten a length over today's trip, she can confirm running with fifth-placed Miss Lillie and come out best. Sunset Shore is likely to finish closer after a modest debut effort at Leicester but one of the newcomers could prove a bigger danger. Godolphin run two with Talent Spotter sporting their first colours ahead of Inspiriter but the 190,000gns purchase, Mahlah, makes more appeal representing the Hannon yard.
