Verdict

Persian Bolt has gone close on several occasions while top weight shouldn't prevent a good run from Lady Crossmar, who has the beating of Strike A Light on their run together at Lingfield in the summer. Mister Mayday seems best over a mile, however, and would also have preferred more give in the ground and Rose Buck's only win came over 6f. PERFECT MISSION is back on his favoured surface and on a winning mark. He missed the break last time at Brighton so Andrew Balding's six-year-old gets a tentative vote in a modest finale.
