Verdict

Shootingsta did well to chase home the useful Charlie Croker at Carlisle but the three who followed them home have all been beaten subsequently. Hard N Sharp had little chance with Risen Sun on ground with some give here last month. The winner has performed with credit in Listed company subsequently so Kevin Ryan's colt should improve and go well. Landing Light did everything but win on his debut at Chester where Gabrial The Tiger caught him in the dying strides while Winstanley is the pick of these on his two second places behind Pallister in June but he's disappointed on a couple of occasions since. MISSISIPI BAILEYS is the only filly in the line-up and the only debutante but she gets the nod as her dam has produced two foals so far, both winners, and Mark Johnston has already produced more than 30 juvenile winners this year.
