In depth

Verdict

Dakota Rain gets the call here ahead of Vivi Belle and Mugeba. Vivi Belle got her head in front at Salisbury last time on good to soft. Okay, it wasn't a great race but she showed a good attitude on that occasion, is lightly raced and can improve again. Dakota Rain also showed a good attitude in coming good at Nottingham last time and, with that characteristic sure to serve him well, he should be considered too. Of the others, Cerulean Rose races from a winning mark and is sure to build on her seasonal return of 22-days ago, Mugeba is running consistently and should be on the premises again, and Nautical and Bel Cantor are back to winning marks from last season and cannot be ruled out on that basis. Once again, though, the selection is Dakota Rain.
