In depth

Verdict

A wide open event with no real clear cut selection but being the form horse the tentative selection has to go with Matmata de Tendron with Heartache, Glen Thyne and Sissinghurst Storm worth noting. The selection has been showing consistent form of late and took the eye when second behind Canavan at Sedgefield last time out. A repeat performance of that will see him go close. Sissinghurst Storm was beaten fifteen lengths at Hereford last time out but prior to that had shown bits and bobs of form to suggest he has another win in him but he is probably best watched for now. Both Glen Thyne and Heartache are recent Towcester winners. That track can throw up the odd funny result on rain softened ground and both have to prove they can follow up. So for the winner we return to Matmata de Tendron.
