In depth

Verdict

Rory Boy is only a pound higher than when successful over fences at Exeter last month but this is his first run over hurdles for more than two years and he'll find FIRST FANDANGO a tough nut to crack. Tim Vaughan's four-year-old chased home the in-form King Of The Night at Kempton two weeks ago and that was a lot more competitive than this. Katies Tuitor may prove the pick of the remainder as he also takes a big drop in grade after finishing down the field behind Brampour at Ascot, though had been in action on the level prior to that run so may not have that much scope for improvement. Irish import Molko Jack may need more time to acclimatise while Fakenham second races from out of the handicap proper.
