In depth

Verdict

Most of these are well exposed so we will stick with the two that have a little more scope, Eshaadeh and Woodland Glade, with the latter just edging the decision, Star Pupil may do best of the others. Richard Hannon's daughter of Mark Of Esteem has shown promise in both races to date. She finished runner up in a modest Newbury maiden, before filling the same spot behind the progressive Zameyla at Salisbury, this contest does have a weak feel to it and Woodland Glade should be capable of taking first prize. Eshaadeh was well beaten at long odds on at Redcar recently, she is obviously not one of the stables stars, but is much better than that run suggests and she should be capable of taking a hand in the finish here. Star Pupil has put up some decent efforts in maidens and handicaps, and with a current rating of 73 must be a danger to all. However there should be plenty more to come from Woodland Glade and this one gets the vote.
