Verdict

Drumconnor Lad was last of four, but not disgraced, on his first venture into hunter chase company at Haydock. He has a chance in this but has to give 8lb to CAPITAINE, an eight times winner under Rules when trained by Paul Nicholls. The grey beat Ecu De La Noverie almost 20 lengths when the latter was odds-on for one of these at Stratford last May.
