Verdict

PROSECUTION looks another good ride for George Wood and is taken to go one better than when runner-up at Windsor the last day. He looked home and hosed on that occasion before being swamped by African late on but it did represent the latest in a run of steady improvement over his five starts and hopefully that progression will be continued here with the additional two furlongs expected to suit. Inspector is of interest now the Palmer yard is back in the swing and Bolder Bob is another unexposed sort expected to improve for the move into handicaps for a shrewd yard. Similar comments can be attributed to John Gosden's Uptown Funk, whilst Legato, Amadeus Rox and Zamadance can all be afforded a fair chance.
