Verdict

This looks to rest between Milton Road and CHRISTMAS NIGHT, who both contested the valuable Rous seller at York last month. The latter came home a length clear of the Channon inmate on that occasion and is taken to confirm placings here on 4lb better terms with trip and ground forecast to be those which occurred on the Knavesmire. Moreover, Ollie Pears' charge has room for further improvement on just his third start against his more exposed and busy rival. Milton Road did land a similar contest to this at Goodwood and rates the obvious threat, although Roses In June shaped more favourably last time at Windsor having been well behind the aforementioned pair in that York seller.
