In depth

Verdict

Karamea, Portrait Of A Lady and Compton Eclaire look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the tentative vote goes to Karamea. The selection won well last time out when defeating Calonogg, she enters handicaps on a fair mark and with conditions in her favour she will be hard to beat. Portrait Of A Lady rates the main danger she won well last time out when defeating Obay and the more rain the better for her. Compton Eclair is another that could go well she was a fair second behind Abasinther at Brighton last time out but this looks more competitive and fore that reason she is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Gaelic Roulette is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Karamea.
