Verdict

Home Secretary has been running very well and will have found a mile too short when third to Strandfield Lady at Galway. He had beaten that winner over today's trip at Dundalk in November and looks sure to go well. Binocular wants some give but Quench The Flame acts on anything and will be fancied to add to his very easy victory at Sligo. However, that was a very poor affair and he's now on his highest-ever mark. The lightly-raced FAOILEANDA looks just the type to take this from a lowly mark and made a very promising return after a long absence behind Siege Of Ennis at the Curragh last month. Jim Bolger's filly will have come on for that run, her first since September, and should be capable of going on to better things. Humor Me Rene is looking high in the weights after her mid-summer double and a bigger threat may be provided by Gentleman Jeff, who reverts to the Flat after a fair effort over timber at Galway.
