In depth

Verdict

Erritt Lake started out in handicaps off a mark 10lb higher than here but he needs to show more. COUNT SALAZAR, three times a winner between the flags, ran his best race for some time behind All The Way Home at Tramore last time and is still well enough treated to go one better. Karinga Queen would prefer quicker ground and Lusiad has never won over fences after 21 starts, though he did run well at Fairyhouse last time. The heavier the ground the better for Take A Shot, who has been running well and doesn't look badly treated so will probably pose the main threat.
