A winner over 5f at Wolverhampton during the summer, DEVIATE went close again under today’s apprentice in a handicap at Bath last week. She may prove good enough given Iconic Knight failed to threaten the winner when runner-up over 6f here last time though still finished ahead of Shamrock Emma. Knockout Blow has a placed effort over 6f at Chester to his credit though was well beaten when dropped back to the minimum trip last time and the remainder are even harder to fancy.
