      Verdict

      PROOFREADER was having his first start since 2013 when third over 1m2f here last month. He looks to have retained his ability on that evidence and gets the vote in a poor handicap. Tears Of The Sun returns to action having placed at Wolverhampton in October but course and distance winner Troopingthecolour hasn't raced for over a year. Mambo Rhythm is another returning from a lay-off so Dolphin Village looks best of the remainder with more recent form.
