CLAMPDOWN didn't find as much as expected in the closing stages at Wolverhampton last time. But that was his first outing for three months and James Tate's charge should be sharper for this. He is just preferred to Hold Firm, a winner at Wolverhampton before making the frame at Chelmsford off today's mark. Retro Valley has something to find with the latter on earlier running so the less-exposed Deftera Lad and Tango Turner make more appeal. Jersey Bull has place claims of the remainder.
