Verdict

Evasive Power went close at the Curragh last time but is penalised for an earlier success at Navan. Be Like Me also carries a penalty for winning at Wolverhampton and FOX CHAMPION can take advantage. The latter hasn’t raced since June but made a promising start when runner-up over today’s trip and finishing six lengths clear of the rest. Richard Hannon’s colt gets the nod on that form. Venture may well finish closer today and Johnny Reb is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
