In depth

Verdict

LORD OBERON defied inexperience to make a successful debut over this trip at Southwell and, as he should continue on the upgrade, he's taken to remain unbeaten. Duba Plains showed improved form at Newcastle after a fair debut here while My Boy Sepoy has been staying on in his two runs on this track though too late to get involved. Tribal Warrior has had all three starts here and his latest was the best so he should be capable of better. Cyclades was engaged at Wolverhampton last night but Marco Botti also has Capla Jaipur entered and his pedigree suggests this trip should be ideal. Clive Cox' Lilbourne Star also looks ideally bred for this trip and is another newcomer to note.
