Verdict

Sky Ship's only victory so far came on Tapeta but he drops down a further grade for this so warrants respect. However, Imperial State ran a shocker when favourite to complete a hat-trick at Redcar and Ehtiraas didn't beat much when opening his account in a Thirsk maiden. REAVER was desperately unlucky over track and trip last week and had only been beaten a head here previously. He's obviously still on a decent mark and can gain compensation. Easter Mate won on his only previous start on Polytrack so can't be ruled out while Mountain Rescue looks the best of the older horses as Prendergast Hill has been racing over further.
