Verdict

Apasionado, successful twice in the autumn, sets a decent standard in an interesting opener but will have to carry a double penalty. Excellent Result looked useful when scoring at Huntingdon in October but hasn’t raced since a poor run in a handicap at Cheltenham in November. Trevisani and Ruwasi are potentially useful recruits from the Flat while dropping back to 2m might suit the mare Peggies Venture. Having been prominent throughout, WHIN PARK kept on nicely at Wincanton in his hurdling debut. He can only improve on that and gets a tentative vote today.
