This auction maiden does not appear the strongest of contests and Princess Cagliari is a hopeful selection to win it. Bobs Dreamflight returns following 165 days off the track but looks the biggest danger judged on his third at Sandwon during the summer. His low draw is a concern while Diamond Twister is another to consider. Princess Cagliari was dropped out in the early stages on debut before running on well in the closing stages. The form has not been franked up to this point but with nominal improvement from first to second runs, Princess Cagliari is given the vote. The form of Bobs Dreamflight's maiden has been well and truly franked with a couple of winners from behind emerging, including a Group 3 winner in Amour Propre. Diamond Twister finished mid-division on each of his two starts. Returning here to six furlongs will suit and given the fact he was green through various stages on his last run, it makes his effort all the more meritorious. Hillside Lad was behind the selection on debut but his inexperience was evident throughout and he should be all the better for the experience also. Rainy Night failed to build on the promise of his fourth on debut. His second effort was over six furlongs as opposed to five on his debut and it appeared as if he failed to see out the additional furlong last time. The market should inform us if anything positive is expected of the newcomers and Princess Cagliari is taken to build on the promise of her debut and land this.
