In depth

Verdict

Opera Wings could be Hayley Turner's first winner for the Stoute team however the step up in trip is not sure to suit on breeding and so it is BRIEF LOOK who can outclass her rivals and get off the mark at the third time of asking. Henry Cecil's filly has shown ability on both of her starts to date, filling the runner-up spot at both Newbury and Southwell. Last time out the first three were a mile clear and she didn't seem to have anything wrong with her attitude; if anything she looked to get outpaced at a key time and with this longer trip in her favour she should take all the beating. Moonbeam Dancer and Sana Abel have both shown some ability and each is rated in the low 70's, whilst Beauchamp Xenia improved for the longer trip last time and is no back marker. Expect improvement from Ingenue and Katya Kabanova at some point but that may not be until handicaps, and with Opera Wings still having a bit to prove as she step up in trip, it is Brief Look who is nominated.
