Verdict

Carenage will rarely get a better chance of winning a race and gets the selection. Consistent, but unable to get her head in front just yet, her third to Doris Souter in a Windsor handicap last time suggested that a step up to 12 furlongs would present her with no problems and she can make that pay. Foxglove looks the danger. Bred to stay this trip and further, she stayed on on her debut at Leicester despite running green and is entitled to improve on that. Fully Fledged finished in the ruck on hers debut and now steps up four furlongs in distance, while Royale Pearl has been well held over shorter trips so far so, in the final analysis, Carenage has an excellent chance.
