Mister Saif, who showed promise on his Goodwood debut, can improve over this longer trip and gets the vote. His debut came over six, the winner looks decent and this mile trip should suit him. The nicely bred Camrose is improving, and should continue to do so, and will certainly give the selection a race. Of the others, Grey Admiral is interesting in that he cost $100,000 and is from a good American family. Pagan Ceremony cost $95,000 and is related to a number of American winners. Red Rag cost 50,000 guineas and is also related to overseas winners. Zouave cost 32,000 guineas and has something to like about him but, as a rule, his trainer's runners improve for a run. Lady Redera was noted staying on her debut at Kempton and is entitled to improve but Water Melody showed little on her Windsor debut. Overall, then, Mister Saif can have the last word.
