Verdict

SWEET GALE can land a hat-trick and take the finale, at the expense of Star Links and Strret Power. Star Links took his maiden at Lingfield in October, and has shaped well on both starts this term, staying on well to be second last time. It is a surprise to see him brought back a furlong in trip however on this tight track, which may not suit. Dual course and distance winner, Street Power looks a threat. He has won three times, and though climbing the weights, fine performances in competitive events suggest he can play a part here. After a winless run of two years, Sweet Gale slipped down the weights, and took advantage with a couple of decisive wins. Although carrying a 6lb penalty for an impressive win at Leicester on Saturday evening, Sweet Gale has won of a higher mark in the past and can score again.
