Verdict

This is a trappy affair and the market should be heeded to see what is expected of the debutants, but preference is for Paul Cole's SILVER SYMPHONY, with the Richard Hannon pair of Brunette and Gulf Punch respected. Interestingly, Richard Hughes takes the ride on Brunette, who was a major disappointment on her debut when well supported. It is significant that Richard Hughes prefers her to Gulf Punch, who turned out in a good quality maiden at Newmarket and was not disgraced. Silver Symphony was only modest in her first couple of starts, but stepped on those performances when chasing home Bahati at Newbury. Cole has a very good team of juveniles this year, and Silver Symphony can show further improvement and take this.
