Verdict

Few are ignored in this contest with Tiradito and Cape Rock figuring prominently in calculations but the vote goes to HURRICANE HYMNBOOK who could be of interest at a price. Cape Rock was the recipient of a finely judged ride by Jim Crowley over course and distance from a low draw and will need more of the same to defy a penalty whilst Tiradito has been as frustrating as he has consistent and is definitely more of an each-way option if the price is right. Print will be hoping that a return to the scene of his course and distance success brings about a return in fortunes whilst Jake The Snake is another that runs this track particularly well and can never be left out of calculations. However, we're going to take a chance with Hurricane Hymnbook who hasn't had a huge amount of racing since making a winning debut for Brian Meehan in 2007. He was rated as high as 97 in 2008 and lines up here a stone lower having been dropped 2lbs for a perfectly respectable return to action over course and distance when beaten under 4 lengths into ninth. He was well backed that day so connections are clearly confident that they can win a race with Hurricane Hymnbook and we're singing from the same songsheet.
