In depth

Verdict

Glenviews Babalou showed improvement last time and is the pick ahead of Wanna Shout, King Of Meze and Renegade, with Noorain also worth a mention. Glenviews Babalou kept on really well in the closing stages when just touched off by Mulberry Lad at Wolverhampton, and although still a maiden after 15 starts, can be fancied to break his duck with a furlong extra to travel. Wanna Shout won a poor contest at Wolverhampton in March and is inconsistent, but it would be foolish to write her off, while King Of Meze made most of the running until headed when third at Wolverhampton three weeks ago, on what was only his second run of the year. Renegade has a nice draw, and the Brighton third has a chance on a line through Mulberry Lad. Noorain shaped well enough with a tongue-tie back on at Southwell last time and will appreciate the trip, but we return to Glenviews Babalou as the answer.
