Verdict

Although only the seven runners have been declared this is not an easy race to assess with only Suez Tornado seemingly with no chance on official ratings. Last time out winners Afadan and Ocean Tide both have penalties to carry and may struggle to follow up. Sir Echo is yet to prove his effectiveness on ground this soft, as has Bucks, although both should handle it. Sixhills is less exposed than most and Blue Planet has been well beaten recently and has something to prove.
