In depth

Verdict

Captain Pugwash has been in superb form around Chelmsford though he's never won here nor over the trip and is getting high enough in the weights. BOMBERO, a winner at Nottingham last summer, made a very promising reappearance at Doncaster and, though making his all-weather debut, looks well enough treated to merit the selection. Paddy A has gone close from this mark in his last two starts and has to be respected while Dangerous Ends, three times a winner over a mile here, has also scored over 1m2f at Chelmsford and looks certain to go well.
