In depth

Formwatch

Buscador (USA) Out of the frame, but not too far behind placed horses, in three 6f maidens to date.

Cockney Boss (IRE) Beaten 23l in Salisbury maiden on only start last month; would need to improve a lot to figure here.

Fiveeightsarf Well beaten in claiming race on second outing; little chance based on that effort.

Go Gabana Finished way off the board in four races to date; blinkers added now, but looks a forlorn hope.

Great As Gold (IRE) Third in reasonable company at Newcastle and York on last two outings; already had five runs, so less improvement likely than some of his rivals.

Ivory Bay Two unplaced efforts since short-head second in Lingfield maiden in June; chance if back to best form, but seems inconsistent; blinkers added.

J M W Turner Won Hamilton conditions event in June; off the track for two months before close fifth in competitive Newmarket nursery won by Falcon Hill recently.

Littleton Tzar (IRE) Not too far behind the leaders in maidens at Folkestone and Windsor; would need to step up on that form, but some improvement is likely.

Maybe Baby (IRE) Unplaced in Thirsk maiden on only racecourse appearance to date.

Mine Forever Has been competing in sellers and claimers and has a lot more on his plate here.

Montoya (IRE) Close third to Flat Spin in 7f Newbury maiden last month; step back to 6f should not inconvenience him as he has shown plenty of speed.

Mystic Venture (IRE) Consistent in selling company, including when winning at Musselburgh, but stepping up considerably in class here.

Prince Cyrano Won Folkestone maiden in contemptuous style, before running fourth to Resplendent Cee in Ripon Listed affair; has best form in the race, stable is going well and he looks like being hard to beat; low draw could be a problem, though.

Royal Windmill (IRE) Finished third to Marechal George on recent Catterick 5f debut, close behind today's rival Uproar; improvement likely.

Uproar Second in a couple of 5f maidens at Folkestone and Catterick, possibly unlucky on latter occasion; step up to 6f should not be an inconvenience.

Volali (IRE) Third in Musselburgh June maiden best effort from four attempts to date; lot more needed to figure here; blinkers added.

Waltzing Wizard Well beaten twice since winning Hamilton Park maiden in July.

Zelensky (IRE) Runner-up to Harry Jake in Nottingham 6f maiden; Dettori-Osborne combination interesting.

Betty's Pride Second to Persian Pearl in Ripon maiden over 5f; first try over 6f trip here.

Ladychatterly Promising third to Nivernais on 5f Folkestone debut in August; trainers' horses usually improve a lot for their first runs.

Long Tall Sally (IRE) Progressive form in three 5f Bath maidens to date; has got possibly the best of the draw on the far rail.

Magic Music (IRE) Unplaced in two maidens at Haydock and Newmarket; potential improver.

Play Misty (IRE) Close third in Lingfield nursery won by Tojoneski on last start; more to do here.

Metric Fair amount of stamina in pedigree; tough task on her debut.
