Fareeq went up 3lb for winning at Chelmsford in January and was unable to handle the extra on a return visit. PORTO FERRO (NAP) hadn't been running well and was having just her second start for John Bridger when just failing to hold on over the track and trip last month. She can race from a 1lb lower mark and, with Luke Morris back on board, is worthy of interest. Robben Rainbow was having his first start since August when a very close fourth at Wolverhampton three weeks ago and looks a threat. Awesome Allen, four times a winner on Turf, has yet to lose his maiden tag on the all-weather but has gone close in his last two starts at Lingfield. Strategic Heights, who had a fine record at Dundalk, is gradually dropping to a winnable mark.
