In depth

Verdict

WELSH OPERA can finally get in tune after a string of second places and looks to have the best chance here with Hamaasy waiting in the wings and Duke Of Milan could strike a good note for each-way punters. While it is a worry the selection has so far failed to get her head in front the form from her penultimate effort has worked out pretty well and against this field this looks to be her best chance yet. Hamaasy on bare form looks to be the biggest danger but we're tempted to overlook him here with the eight-year-old yet to find anything on polytrack. That said the form from his Southall runs has worked out well so if it finally clicks on this surface, although doubtful, then he would be a danger. Duke Of Milan is forecast to be a double figure price, which looks a little big for a course and distance winner who has began to rediscover a little form. That victory was in April and although his mark is too high to score again place claims should be considered. Muktasb has been frustrating since his course and distance triumph in January and is still struggling off a reduced mark so we're left with Welsh Opera.
