Verdict

PROOFREADER was disappointing when sharing favouritism at Worcester in May but he is probably better than that and his experience could be vital here against the nicely-bred Imperial Presence, who makes his racecourse debut, and Magic Music Man. The latter has been placed a couple of times on the Flat but this will be his first run for more than a year so he's obviously had his problems. Lettheriverrundry didn't beat much in a Towcester bumper a year ago and was then well beaten at Ayr but he runs in the J P McManus colours so will be expected to pay his way.
