Verdict

LUTINE CHARLIE is taken to go one better than on debut but Fardyieh, Barlaman and Pont De Nuit will all have their supporters. Deely Plaza will need to leave his debut form behind if he's to challenge for top honours and Richard Hannon appears to have a stronger candidate in Pont De Nuit who's bred to be precocious. Fardyieh offers some of the best form available having left her debut form behind to chase home a warm favourite at Newbury which entitles her to close consideration. Barlaman made his debut over course and distance and shaped with a degree of promise to be beaten less than three lengths despite a slow start. The form has yet to be tested but it would be no surprise to see him win races. Professor Bollini is worth a second look but Lutine Charlie has already made a promising start to his career. The run did come on soft ground at Doncaster and the form may not be out of the ordinary but he looked in need of the experience so could improve which Lutine Charlie will need to do.
