    Verdict

A staying novice chase is next on the agenda and DIaVOLERIA is the pick ahead Mr. Woods and Quick Will. The selection made a very pleasing introduction to chasing when finishing second to a decent horse of Howard Johnsons. She jumped quite well throughout the race before staying on steadily to finish second. That was a nice first run for this 118 rated hurdler and more improvement is on the cards with Denis O'Regan booked for the Easterby yard. Mr. Woods had been holding his form well before being pulled up on his latest start. The soft ground was probably to blame that day and he is best judged on his previous form which was very solid. There won't be a lot between him and the selection but the fact he gives her a stone in weight just swings it for us. Quick Will won his latest start but has a bit to find at the rating so we will stick with Divoleria.
