Verdict

A tough hunter chase to contend with now but the improving ELIZA DOALOTT is taken to out point Silver Sedge and Dix Villez. The selection has been vastly improved of late racking up three recent wins under today's rider. She'll be encountering quick conditions again today which is not ideal for the Oscar mare but he has handled this type of ground well before. Any rain would be welcomed though. Silver Sedge has a bit to find with the selection of their last run but today's bigger field and quicker ground may help him get closer. Dix Villez was a very high class horse in his hay day but seems to be regressive of late. However, he still warrants respect in this company and he'll certainly enjoy the ground. Others to note are Always Blue and Anshan Spirit but Eliza Doalott gets the vote.
