In depth

Verdict

Irish point winner Dove Hill has to be of interest as he makes his belated debut under Rules at a time when his yard is enjoying a good run of form and it would be no surprise were he to prove capable of landing what is probably no more than an average contest. The suggestion, though, is JURISDICTION who may have to give weight away but the course form is a plus at this venue and it was certainly an improved performance to run away with a handicap hurdle in the manner that he did. He took a hefty rise in the weights for that which, in theory, leaves him closely matched with Elevenses back in novice company on these terms but having something to find with Lady Jinks and Glaced Over. However, that pair have something to prove whereas Jurisdiction can continue to progress.
