In depth

Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer COOLE HALL needs a stamina test so did well to score over 2m4f here last month. Today's longer trip will suit and he can get the better of another winning pointer Senor Lombardy. Keith Dalgleish' four-year-old made all for a bumper victory at Hexham and could set the race up for the selection if Brian Hughes employs the same tactics. Manitowoc County, who has also won a point, has found the trips too short in his two hurdles starts so improvement is expected as it is from Flemens Story, who has a similar level of form.
