In depth

Verdict

Oscar O'scar and Tambour Major could figure in a modest heat if fully wound-up. The Squinty Bridge was third on his handicap debut at Hexham but still beaten more than 50 lengths. Marlee Massie started favourite over track and trip two months ago but blundered and unseated his rider at the second. We'll take a chance on CLENAGH CASTLE at the likely odds as he ran well over this trip on soft ground at Newcastle a year ago and will have needed the run at Sedgefield in October.
