Verdict

RED TANBER has won four of his six starts over fences, all at Musselburgh. He's up another 6lb today but scored cosily enough on his latest start to suggest he can go in again. The veteran Polar Gunner looks his biggest threat as he won last year's renewal off the same mark and should be in the firing-line again, while Freddie Brown looked to be getting his act together over fences when third at Catterick last time with the previous winner and re-opposing Kilkenny All Star well beaten.
