Verdict

ITZACLICHE hasn't seen much racing for an 11-year-old and this is the first time the gelding hasn't been partnered by Jodie Richards, the pair scoring at Cartmel when last seen in August over two furlongs shy of four miles. However, he's a winner at this trip and Dougie Costello will no doubt set out to maximise his guaranteed stamina. There are plenty of dangers though, with Copper's Gold of particular interest if ready for this comeback run. He lost his form at the end of last season but previously looked progressive at an ordinary level over larger obstacles. A Little Different, disappointing the last twice, has claims at best and it will be interesting to see if Ngong Hills retains his ability after a lengthy absence of over two years having swept away the cobwebs over an inadequate trip at Sedgefield.
