Verdict

ROYAL TENDER is taken to get the better of Mid Div And Creep and Took My Eye. This mare from the Hugh Collingridge yard has been running with credit on the flat for the last couple of years, but she has shown a decent level of form over hurdles and she has shown in the point-to-point sphere that she has enough ability to take this contest. Mid Div And Creep is making her debut under rules here, but she is another that has been in good form in point-to-points and with conditions to suit she should run her race. Took My Eye was a little disappointing when last seen out when he was let down by a string of jumping errors. He still finished second behind Silver Dollars but he has been off the track for over a year and he may be sharper for this run. Ballynonty, Rock Charlie and Well Corned have all shown they have ability, but this looks a good opportunity for Royal Tender who is taken to get her head in front.
