Verdict

Brian Hughes is travelling from Ludlow to ride Character Onesie, who he's ridden in his last three starts so must believe he has a chance here. The Blue Bomber had been dropping to a reasonable mark before taking advantage under tonight's rider at Market Rasen and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Bay Fortuna was winning for only the second time at Uttoxeter last June but did it easily which is why he's 9lb higher for his belated reappearance. Spirit Of Rome has only had three runs over timber and disappointed when well supported at Catterick but if CUBSWIN (NAP) can repeat last week's run at Cheltenham when caught right on the line in a fillies' juvenile handicap then she looks home and hosed with Harry Teal taking 7lb off her back.
