In depth

Verdict

Ingratitude, Mille et Une and Lester Leaps In are the shortlisted trio here with Ingratitude taken to score. Mille et Une makes his debut in this country for Alan King and he has shown good ability in France, winning three times. Two of those successes have come over fences but he may be well treated. He can go well. Making his handicap debut over timber, Lester Leaps In seems to be the second string of Nicky Henderson judged on jockey bookings. He has appeared one paced so far this season and is taking on some useful performers here. Dual hurdle winner and also a scorer on the level, Ingratitude, is the main representative of Nicky Henderson's and he will strip fitter for his first outing for five months when finishing well beaten in the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham. His form over hurdles has been consistent and Ingratitude can make his class count.
