Mendosino, Lysander's Quest and Dundridge Native are the three to focus on here with Mendosino taken to continue his fine form. The veteran Lysander's Quest was having his first outing over hurdles for five years when finishing a close second in a maiden hurdle at Fontwell. A winner four times on the level, that was his best effort over timber and he may be well treated here and can hit the frame. After 19 unsuccessful attempts over hurdles, Dundridge Native has won both his starts this season in emphatic fashion. He hails from a yard that is flying at the moment, though a seven pound penalty for winning a poor contest last time may prove too much. Mendosino has won two of his last three starts, including a twelve length defeat of That's Racing last time. That one filled the same place behind Osako d'Airy who has scored since so the form is very solid. Off only a six pound higher mark Mendosino can win again.
