Verdict

Cayman Islands is a weak finisher and worth opposing again as he still looks too high in the weights. But it would be no surprise to see Red Tortue go well on his first start over fences as he's very lightly-raced. He's preferred to Allow Dallow, who has been off the track for a while, and the exposed Vinnie The Fish. VERANO was third behind a couple of decent chasers on his debut over the larger obstacles at Southwell in May. He'll have learned plenty that day and can open his account this afternoon.
