Verdict

Coup De Grace, who has won three times on the Flat, has now had 14 starts over timber without winning though he was only caught close home by Rayak at Newbury last month. Fair Loch's overall form over hurdles would be strong enough if at his best though he ran poorly on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton last month following a break. MAD JACK MYTTON is progressing with each run and though unable to get past Ascendant in a Ludlow handicap last time a repeat performance could be good enough. Rock Of Ages scored over two miles on the Flat at Southwell before a moderate debut over timber and probably needs further.
