Verdict

A difficult race to evaluate given the lack of information from the betting ring and we prefer Knockara Luck to Ring Back and Strawberry. Knockara Luck was turned over at odds-on when tried on fast ground and while it is an obvious worry that this was the case, any further rain would not inconvenience and the fact that Nicky Richards comes here should be two positives that will influence the market. Ring Back has shown bits and pieces of form that entitle her to consideration and should have come on for two runs. Strawberry finished just behind Ring Back when the pair met in the Aintree Mares' bumper so has to be offered due respect. Eden Linty obliged at 100/1 when trained by Wilf Storey and has since passed into the care of Philip Hobbs. Our Joycey is no great shakes but was capable of scoring at Leicester on her latest start. There is more to do at this level but her ability to win is not in question. Knockara Luck is held in some regard at Greystoke and we take her to put up her true running on this occasion.
