In depth

Verdict

Cheney Manor looked the likely winner on his reappearance and chasing bow over 2m1f at Ascot but had no answer when All For Free swept past. Global Flyer stays further than this as he showed when scoring over 2m7f at Wetherby but he's 13lb higher and is returning from a break. Jackers reappeared with a battling success over timber at Hereford but ran very poorly there next time and makes his chasing debut and though Crystal Prince is in good form he's 10lb higher than his only success so far over fences. RAMSES DE MARCIGNY has more potential than any of these having already been successful in a bumper and a maiden hurdle from seven starts. He makes his debut over fences on a fair mark and could be quite a bit better than these.
